Rishikesh is a city, municipal corporation and a tehsil in Dehradun district of the Indian state, Uttarakhand. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, it is known as the 'Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas'[3] and 'Yoga Capital of the World'.[4] It is approximately 25 km (16 mi) north of the city Haridwar and 43 km (27 mi) southeast of the state capital Dehradun. According to Census of India, 2011 Rishikesh had a population of 102,138 making it the seventh most populated city and in the state of Uttarakhand. It is known as the pilgrimage town and regarded as one of the holiest places to Hindus. Hindu sages and saints have visited Rishikesh since ancient times to meditate in search of higher knowledge.

Afternoon excursion of Haridwar (40 KMS).

Haridwar is an ancient city and important Hindu pilgrimage site in North India's Uttarakhand state, where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. The largest of several sacred ghats (bathing steps), Har Ki Pauri hosts a nightly Ganga Aarti (river-worshipping ceremony) in which tiny flickering lamps are floated off the steps. Worshipers fill the city during major festivals including the annual Kanwar Mela.

Post sightseeing drive back to Rishikesh.

Morning post breakfast transfer to Shivpuri to experience the River Rafting at The Ganges from Shivpuri to Laxman Jhoola.

The Rafting from Shivpuri till LaxmanJhula involves a 16 kilometer stretch covering some of the most enticing Grade III and III+ rapids in a little close to three hours. This trip encompasses rapids like return to sender, golf course, roller coaster, club house, double trouble etc. During the course of your rafting endeavor you will also come across many Ghats, temples and ashrams. It would take approximately 3 hours to complete the expedition.

Morning drive to Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi, located at an altitude of 1158 m. on the banks of river Bhagirathi. Uttarkashi is generally known as a holy town of Uttrakhand and is home to a number of ashrams and temples and also to the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, the town of Uttarkashi is situated on the Ganges, lies next to a hill named Varunavat, on the confluence of two rivers Varuna and Asi, has a ghat called Manikarnika Ghat and has a temple dedicated to Shiva (Kashi Vishwanath Temple) in the centre of the town.

En-route visiting Gangnani Sulphur Springs. Gangnani, also known as Rishikund tirth, is the place where devotees generally, prefer to bathe in a hot water thermal spring before moving on towards Gangotri.

Gangotri is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Uttarkashi district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is a Hindu pilgrim town on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and origin of River Ganges

Arrive in Gangotri and proceed for sightseeing.

Gangotri, the origin of the River Ganges and seat of the goddess Ganga, is one of the four sites in the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage circuit is located at height of 3,100 meters (10,200 ft). According to popular Hindu legend, it was here that Goddess Ganga descended when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from the locks of his hair.

Morning drive to Mussoorie which is approx 5 hours drive
