Day 01: ARRIVE DEHRADUN & DRIVE TO RISHIKESH

Meeting and assistance on arrival at Dehradun airport & transfer to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is a city, municipal corporation and a tehsil in Dehradun district of the Indian state, Uttarakhand. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, it is known as the 'Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas'[3] and 'Yoga Capital of the World'.[4] It is approximately 25 km (16 mi) north of the city Haridwar and 43 km (27 mi) southeast of the state capital Dehradun. According to Census of India, 2011 Rishikesh had a population of 102,138 making it the seventh most populated city and in the state of Uttarakhand. It is known as the pilgrimage town and regarded as one of the holiest places to Hindus. Hindu sages and saints have visited Rishikesh since ancient times to meditate in search of higher knowledge. Day 02: IN RISHIKESH

Morning breakfast at hotel. Post breakfast walkthrough tour of Laxman Jhoola & Parmartha Niketan Ashram. Also visit Mansa Devi temple. Parmarth Niketan is a t rue spiritual haven, lying on the holy banks of Mother Ganga in the lap of the lush Himalayas. It is the largest ashram in Rishikesh, providing its thousands of pilgrims who come from all corners of the Earth with a clean, pure and sacred atmosphere as well as abundant, beautiful gardens. With several hundred rooms, the facilities are a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional, spiritual simplicity. Afternoon excursion of Haridwar (40 KMS). Haridwar is an ancient city and important Hindu pilgrimage site in North India"s Uttarakhand state, where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. The largest of several sacred ghats (bathing steps), Har Ki Pauri hosts a nightly Ganga Aarti (river-worshipping ceremony) in which tiny flickering lamps are floated off the steps. Worshipers fill the city during major festivals including the annual Kanwar Mela. Post sightseeing drive back to Rishikesh. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: IN RISHIKESH

Morning post breakfast transfer to Shivpuri to experience the River Rafting at The Ganges from Shivpuri to Laxman Jhoola. The Rafting from Shivpuri till LaxmanJhula involves a 16 kilometer stretch covering some of the most enticing Grade III and III+ rapids in a little close to three hours. This trip encompasses rapids like return to sender, golf course, roller coaster, club house, double trouble etc. During the course of your rafting endeavor you will also come across many Ghats, temples and ashrams. It would take approximately 3 hours to complete the expedition. Evening witness The Aarty ceremony at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: DRIVE RISHIKESH – UTTARKASHI (180 KMS/5/6 HRS)

Morning drive to Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi, located at an altitude of 1158 m. on the banks of river Bhagirathi. Uttarkashi is generally known as a holy town of Uttrakhand and is home to a number of ashrams and temples and also to the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, the town of Uttarkashi is situated on the Ganges, lies next to a hill named Varunavat, on the confluence of two rivers Varuna and Asi, has a ghat called Manikarnika Ghat and has a temple dedicated to Shiva (Kashi Vishwanath Temple) in the centre of the town. OAfternoon visit temples of Uttarkashi.

Day 05: DRIVE UTTARKASHI - (99 KMS/5/6 HRS)

Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Gangotri which is approx 100 Kms from Uttarkashi Town. En-route visiting Gangnani Sulphur Springs. Gangnani, also known as Rishikund tirth, is the place where devotees generally, prefer to bathe in a hot water thermal spring before moving on towards Gangotri. Gangotri is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Uttarkashi district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is a Hindu pilgrim town on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and origin of River Ganges, Arrive in Gangotri and proceed for sightseeing. Gangotri, the origin of the River Ganges and seat of the goddess Ganga, is one of the four sites in the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage circuit is located at height of 3,100 meters (10,200 ft). According to popular Hindu legend, it was here that Goddess Ganga descended when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from the locks of his hair. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: DRIVE UTTARKADSHI – MUSSOORIE(130 KMS/4/5 HRS)

Morning drive to Mussoorie which is approx 5 hours drive, Mussoorie rises on a horseshoe-shaped foothill that overlooks, on the one side, the great plain and on the other side, the vibrant, magnetic silhouette of the Himalayas It has grown to great proportions since Capt.Young of the English army constructed his house, The Mullinger, on the wooded ridge The centre piece of all activity in this resort is the meandering Mall which follows the tide of the ridge In the evening, the Doon Valley glows in the stellar display of its lights and provides a breathtaking view Life in Mussoorie starts anew The Mall throngs with people, shops are abuzz with buyers and the aroma of kebabs and sizzlers fills the atmosphere. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07: IN MUSSOORIE

Morning breakfast at hotel. Later full day sightseeing of Mussoorie. Evening free to roam on The Mall Road of Mussoorie. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08: DRIVE MUSSOORIE TO DEHRADUN & LEAVE DEHRADUN

Morning breakfast at hotel and transfer t0 Jolly Grant airport Dehradun to Board Flight for onward destination. Our services ends with this drop at airport.
