first stop is Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Traveling past the Red Fort and Chandni
Chowk Market, you will reach Jama Masjid. You can also explore the bustling Chandni Chowk
market,
famous for clothes, street food, and jewelry.
In the afternoon, you will visit historical highlights like Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, and
India
Gate. You'll also drive past the Parliament House, President's House, and other government
buildings before reaching the Lakshminarayan Temple. Overnight stay in Delhi.
On the second morning, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Leh, where you will stay at a hotel. This day is free for you to acclimatize to the altitude and explore Ladakh, the highest plateau in Kashmir. Options include visiting the Siachen Glacier and various Buddhist shrines. Start the morning with a visit to the nine-story Leh Palace, the Islamic-Tibetan Mosque, and the famous bazaar of Leh. In the afternoon, explore the Phyang and Spituk Monasteries.
