The journey commences with an evening safari in the Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the country’s second-largest tiger population, alongside other species like leopards, deer, and elephants. The Golden Chariot then proceeds to the majestic Mysore Palace and the beautiful Dravidian Temple at Srirangapatnam, dedicated to the God Vishnu. The train continues to the historic site of the once-majestic Vijayanagara Empire and the medieval ruins of Hampi. The tour concludes with a visit to Anegundi, considered the birthplace of the God Hanuman.
Day 01: Saturday (Bengaluru to Nanjangud)
Registration and Check-in from 08:30 hrs onwards. The train departs from YPR (09:45 hrs). Enjoy lunch onboard as the train arrives in Nanjangud at 13:30 hrs. Embark on an exciting Evening Safari (16:30 hrs to 18:30 hrs). Return to the train by 20:15 hrs for dinner onboard as the train proceeds to Mysore. Overnight stay on the train in Mysore.
