Welcome to Srinagar, India. Renowned for its picturesque landscapes, gardens, waterfronts, and
houseboats, Srinagar is a true gem. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and
escorted to your hotel to freshen up before starting your sightseeing tour.
Your first visit will be to the majestic Mughal Gardens, beginning with Nishat Bagh (Garden of
Joy). This terraced Mughal garden, the largest in the Kashmir Valley, is beautifully situated on
the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains as its backdrop. Built by Asif Khan in 1633
AD,
Nishat Bagh is a sight to behold.
Next, you will visit Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), built by Jahangir for his wife Nur Jahan in
1619. Known as the “Crown of Srinagar,” Shalimar Bagh covers an area of 12.4 hectares with three
terraces fitted with fountains and lined with sycamore (chinar) trees.
After exploring these gardens, you will visit a carpet weaving factory to observe local artisans
at work. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.
Prepare for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers, located 2730 meters above
sea
level. Covering a distance of approximately 60 km in 2 hours, Gulmarg is a famous hill station
and
the seventh-best skiing destination in Asia. It boasts the highest golf course in the world with
18 holes, situated in the Pir Panjal Range of the western Himalayas.
Enjoy the thrilling views of towering mountain ranges, including the Nanga Parbat (26,624 ft),
if
the weather permits. The scenic drive from Tangmarg to Gulmarg, through pine and fir forests,
will
leave you spellbound. Activities include a 3-hour trek to Khilangmarg, sledge riding on snow,
and
chair lifts for those who prefer not to trek.
Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, you will be driven to Pahalgam via National Highway 1A. The journey will take
you
past saffron fields in Pampore, the ancient Avantipur ruins, and the village of Bijbehara. Don’t
miss the opportunity to try freshly baked bread from roadside vendors.
Your route will change at Khanabal, where you will leave NH1A and continue through Anantnag, the
second-largest city in Kashmir. This scenic route runs parallel to the Lidder River, leading to
Pahalgam.
Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart from Pahalgam and return to Srinagar. Arrive at your Srinagar hotel by
lunchtime. The afternoon is free for leisure activities and personal exploration. Consider
visiting local markets to shop for souvenirs such as Pashmina shawls, copper utensils, Kashmiri
tea, carpets, walnut wood products, and spices.

Begin your journey to Leh with a stopover in Kargil. After breakfast, start your drive, taking
multiple halts along the way. One notable stop is Zojila Pass at 3527 meters, known as the
Gateway
of Ladakh, which is usually closed to the public in winter due to heavy snowfall.
Continue your journey with a tea and refreshment stop in Drass, where you will undergo passport
checks and other security formalities. Drass, at an altitude of 10,800 feet (3,300 meters), is
the
heart of the valley of the same name.
Arrive in Kargil and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Today’s journey is filled with panoramic views and requires an early start. You will ascend
three
passes, beginning with Mulbekh, the first Buddhist village en route. Cross the highest pass,
Fotula, at 13,749 feet on the Srinagar-Leh route.
Visit Pathar Sahib Gurdwara, Kargil War Memorial, and Magnetic Hill Road. The Gurdwara Pathar
Sahib, built in 1517, commemorates Guru Nanak Dev’s visit to the Ladakh region. The Kargil War
Memorial honors the martyrs of the 1999 India-Pakistan conflict. Magnetic Hill is an intriguing
spot, famous for its mysterious magnetic force or optical illusion.
Next, visit Lamayuru, the oldest monastery, and continue to Nimo, the main starting point for
annual river rafting expeditions on the Indus River.
Finally, reach Leh at an altitude of 3500 meters and check into your hotel for an overnight
stay.
After breakfast, embark on a full day of local sightseeing. Visit the Hall of Fame, Thiksey
Monastery, Shanti Stupa, Sand Dunes Leisure Park, Likir Monastery, Stok Palace Museum, and
Sindhu
Ghat. Each site offers unique attractions and experiences.
Overnight stay at your hotel in Leh.
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, a must-visit destination in Ladakh. Located to the
northeast of the Ladakh valley, Nubra Valley requires a Protected Area Permit for foreign
nationals.
Diskit, about 120 km from Leh, is where the Shyok River meets the Nubra (Siachen) River, forming
a
large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. Enjoy the wide landscapes, majestic
mountains, colorful trails, and the musical Shyok River.
Return to your hotel in Leh for an overnight stay.
Start early at 5 AM and head to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass at 5486 meters. The panoramic
views
are breathtaking. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of yaks.

the
backdrop of the blue brackish lake, is spectacular. The lake, 5-6 km wide and over 144 km long,
