ItineraryYour adventure begins with a grand traditional Indian welcome at the Taj Mahal Palace at 14:30 hrs. After registration, guests are escorted to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station to board the Maharaja Express. The train departs for Ajanta, offering a delightful dinner on-board as guests settle in for the night.
Enjoy breakfast on-board as the train arrives in Ajanta. Guests explore the ancient rock caves, a significant start to their historical journey through India. After the excursion, relax on the train, enjoying dinner on-board as the train heads to Udaipur.
Upon arrival in Udaipur, guests savor breakfast on-board. The day's activities include a boat ride on Lake Pichola, a visit to the City Palace and Crystal Gallery, and a royal lunch at Satkar Hall in Fateh Prakash Palace. Optional activities include spa services, a sound and light show, or private shopping tours. Dinner is served in one of the train's themed restaurants, Rang Mahal or Mayur Mahal, as the train moves towards Jodhpur.
