Day 01: CHANDIGARH – NARKANDA
Stay, Dinner & Car After picking from Chandigarh Airport/Railway station, start your wonderful vacation to Himachal starting from Narkanda. Reach Narkanda and check-in into the pre-booked hotel for Overnight stay. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel. Shimla renowned its name as Queen of hills due to its flattering sceneries and colonial heritage which has retained its charm from British India time to till now.
Day 02: NARKANDA– SANGLA
Stay, cab & Dinner Only Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Sangla. Upon arrival, check into the Hotel for overnight stay in Sangla.
Day 03: SANGLA AND CHITKUL SIGHTSEEING
Stay, cab & Dinner Only Today, drive towards Chitkul, located 20 kilometers away from the camp. It is the last village on the ancient Indo-Tibetan trade route. En-route, have packed lunch. Overnight stay at Sangla.
Day 04: SANGLA -KALPA
Breakfast, Stay, Cab & Dinner Only Today morning after breakfast, check-out from the Hotel & drive to Kalpa – District Headquarter of Kinnar & once a favorite haunt of Lord Dalhousie. Arrive Kalpa & Check-in to the Hotel. Kalpa was known as Chini back in the days when it was the Regional Capital. Kalpa has changed little in the last 500 years. It is said that as & when Lord Dalhousie wanted to take a break from his hectic schedule in Shimla, he would come here on his Horseback. Each & every corner of Kalpa facing Jorkanden & the Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a 79 foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes the colour as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. Post Lunch rest in Hotel & in evening visit to Buddhist Gompa – Hu Bu Lan Kar. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: KALPA - TABO (182KM/7HR)
Stay, cab & Dinner Only Today, in the morning, drive towards Tabo from Sangla. On the way, visit Nako. Stay overnight at in Tabo.
Day 06: TABO - KAZA (47KM/2HR)
Stay, cab & Dinner Only In the morning, visit the Tabo monastery, which is around 1006 years old. Post lunch, visit the Pin Valley. Later, return back to Banjara Retreat for night stay.Today, in the morning, visit the Kee Monastery. Meet the local people, observe their lifestyle and have lunch in Gette. Later, drive towards Kaza. Upon arrival, check in at the Banjara Retreat resort for overnight stay.
Day 07: KAZA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Stay, cab & Dinner Only Morning visit the Kee monastery, 12 kms from Kaza. These centuries – old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors – and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa at Kibber, 9 kms further ahead. Kibber at 4205 m has the distinction of being the highest permanently inhabited village of the region. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08: KAZA – SHIMLA RETURN
Stay, cab & Dinner Only Today, in the morning, drive towards Shimla. On arrival check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 09: SHIMLA TO CHANDIGARH DEPARTURE
Stay, cab & Breakfast Only Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Chandigarh.
